Gtmetrix error

    I wanted to test my website with gtmetrix but it keeps saying that there is a 403 error

    I checked my robot.txt file, it was all right, I checked my Cloudflare, all the modes are default
    Any ideas why are all bots being blocked? There are good bots so I don’t want to block them all

  • It may be down to Cloudflare or some other security tool at your end.

    When I use any web tool like https://httpstatus.io/ to check the site, it returns HTTP status code 403.

    But when I open the site directly in my browser and check the Chrome developer console, 200 is returned.

    So it seems some security tool on the site, host, or Cloudflare is blocking automated online tools (perhaps some anti-scrapping feature or something such).

    That’s totally outside WordPress’ purview.
