    hi,
we are test our site with Gtmetrix and in Waterfall Chart section find an issue with wordfence:

a request from wordfence spend up to 3 sec to load with this tag ?wordfence_syncAttackData=1596950895.3695

we seriously want to reduce time of this request or eliminate completely

Hello @imanshm and thanks for reaching out to us!

That tag is usually associated with Live Traffic. When you tested your GTmetrix for your page, it might just be that the site is getting excessive traffic from a country, IP, or range that is blocked.

If this doesn’t help, can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

Let me know if this helps!

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your response;

We found that this problem is due to CDN activation.
This message was not appear before activating CDN.
    Should we whitelist CDN IPs?

    Hello again @imanshm

Usually, with a CDN, Wordfence needs to be whitelisted. Which CDN did you choose?

You can whitelist our Scanner’s IP range (69.46.36.0 to 69.46.36.32).

    69.46.36.0/27
    69.46.36.32/32

You might also want to check if your IP detection is correct, first, check the following site and take note of your IP: https://www.whatsmyip.org

Then, head over to your site and go to Wordfence > All Options > General Wordfence Options > How does Wordfence get IPs and reference the area under that section that says Detected IPs and Your IP with this setting. Start from the top and check to see if any of the settings show that both of those show the same IP as the site above does.

If you’re using Cloudflare, you will most likely need to select “Use the Cloudflare “CF-Connecting-IP” HTTP header to get a visitor IP. Only use if you’re using Cloudflare.”.

Let me know if this helps!

    Thanks!

    hello again,
our CDN is an iranian CDN (ARVANCLOUD.com)
we set the first setting in the HOW DOES WORDFENCE GT IPS and detected ip is same as ip checker (although the 3rd and 4th options have the same ips so)

and ips of our CDN to the trusted proxies (below of this setting section), now wordfence_syncAttackData don’t appear in the GTMETRIX test.

this changes is OK or not???

    best regards!
