    Hello!
We installed the GTranslate-plugin a while ago, but it is only recently we discovered that only the paid version offers a better quality of translation. So we start our subscription today, yet unfortunately the quality of the translation in Romanian language is less than average and needs to be improved manually.

We found this information: https://gtranslate.io/docs/58-gtranslate-tdn-documentation#editing_translations to be able to start editing, but we are still not able to apply any corrections!
We use Elementor for the building of the pages. It seems it is not possible to change the text, because it is changing the one on the main language – English.
Could you please advise how to proceed?

Also (less urgent) on the translated version of the page – the icons do not load? How could we prevent that?

NOTE! The live chat does not load, so we are really hoping you are going to answer here…

    Thank you for your help.
    BR,
    Lina

    Hi,

I have just checked your website and can see that the paid features are not configured yet. Please follow the steps you have received in your sign up email. You should run Setup Wizard process from your GTranslate dashboard.

If the live chat does not load, you can try to contact us from a different computer, we do not have issues with our live chat currently. We can do the task for you if you provide us the appropriate access: https://gtranslate.io/#contact

    Thanks! ??

    Hello again!
Thank you for the fast answer…

Indeed, we followed the steps from the setup wizard and we added the CNAME record in the DNS editor with cPanel for “ro.prorider.ro”
And also, configured the widget in the Dashboard of our website: cf.print-screen as follows: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6o7asya0y7bw58y/gtranslate-config.jpg?dl=0

What else so we need to do?
    Thank you again

    BR,
    Lina

PS: the chat does not load… sincerely, we tried.

    Hi,

Have you checked this article How to edit translations?

Please mention exactly the steps you do in order to edit the translations and what doesn’t work, so I can help you.

To fix the icon font load issue you need to add this rules on top of your .htaccess file:

    <FilesMatch "\.(ttf|ttc|otf|eot|svg|woff|woff2)$">
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
    </FilesMatch>

P.S. In which country are you located? Are you able to see the chat icon in this website: https://www.intercom.com/ ?

    Thanks! ??

    Hello @edo888 !
Thank you for the helpful advise. Indeed – I managed to open the translation manager.
Also the code did bring back the icons on the Romanian front-end.

The website is Romanian and on located on a Romanian server – built in English and in process of adding Romanian language to it for the local public.

Yet – this link does not offer any chat-icon on the website. Sorry!

Unfortunately, I just noticed that any other translations of the website do not load any more. Does it means that once we open with a browser in a different language than Romanian or English – the website will simply not load? Or if a viewer would request a language different than Eng/Ro – G-Translate will not provide any of the free version?
Is there an other option? Thank you again…

    Hi,

I can see that you have configured Romanian version, however the DNS cname records are missing for other languages. Please follow the Setup Wizard and add the necessary DNS records for each language you want to use on your website.

You may try to use VPN to see the live chat, you can use Opera browser which has integrated free VPN.

    Thanks! ??

    Hello to you too!
The plan for the website we chose is bilingual – as it is our priority public and the quality of translation toward Romanian offered by Google (even in the paid plan) needs to be refined.

Does adding complementary DNS-records for more languages change our paid plan?
Thank you for your time and help!

    Hi,

In that case simply remove other languages from the language selector, if you need more languages you need to upgrade your plan. You cannot mix the free version and paid version.

Automatic translations are not currently perfect even in the paid version. If you need help proofreading the automatic translations or need professional translations we can help you with that, you can use our Website Translation Quote to get an instant translation quote for your website.

    Thanks! ??
