My website avittathan.com has a floating Gtranslate icon in the bottom left corner. It’s currently displaying “AUTO” instead of a flag. I’m using Litespeed cache, and I think there might be a problem with plugin’s JavaScript or CSS is being optimized. Can you please help me find the specific code that needs to be changed and tell me where to insert it? I’m not very familiar with coding, so a clear and direct explanation would be helpful.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Please consult LiteSpeed cache plugin support about excluding GTranslate js code from being “optimized”.

    Thanks! ??

Having the same problem. As big as light speed is today you would expect you had a answer to this for us paying customers?!

Btw it happens when you use Page Optimization > JS Settings >Load JS Deferred > Delayed

Any JS file to omit etc?

    Hi @edo888,

I have the same problem as pointed out by @michaelgad, with the floating GTranslate icon displaying an AUTO UNDEFINED word instead of the Flag + Language image. This, however, changes when you select an alternative language. NOTE: I got this issue after adjusting my Litespeed plugin settings under the [Page optimization > JS Settings > Load JS Deferred from OFF to DELAYED].

Meanwhile, I still noticed an option in Litespeed settings under Pagespeed optimization > [8] Tuning]> JS Deferred / Delayed Excludes where I can add/set a GTranslate “JS code” which can help exclude GTranslate from being deferred/delayed. Kindly can you share the JS code that I can use, otherwise I am likely to drop the plugin for now until I resolve the error issue. All in all the plugin is such a super great product.

Install a plugin”flying scripts. In settings, include keywords… put float.js then time out 1s. Problem will be solved. I did that.

@jayankoodal the results haven’t been so good for me after installing the suggested plugin, because the floating icon still remained in auto undefined mode. Meanwhile my site performance instantly dropped from over 70% to under 10% in [mobile] after a site diagnosis by PageSpeed Insights. And when I deactivated the plugin, the performance levels went back to normal. I don’t know why that happened. So I had to opt out.
