Gtranslate not been displayed on website

I have installed Gtranslate and followed the intructions from a recent youTube video to activate the multi-language facility on my website. I can see all changes on my Admin profile. However if I look at the website from an external visitor point of view, I see no changes at all!! is there anything I am not doing to fully publish all my changes?
Here are the steps I took:
1. Download and install plug in
2. Selected languages + Save
3. Widget look: dropdown with flags + Save
4. Auto switch to browser language: ticked + Save
5. Show native language names: ticked + Save
6. GTranslate widget added on footer + Done

I can see steps 1-5 on the website as the “admin”.
I cannot see steps 1-6 as a visitor.
I cannot see step 6 neither as “admin” nor as “external visitor”.
