It appears that since the recent update of wordpress for some of you and myself Gtranslate will not work on mobile phones. There is definitely a conflict which I am sure they will sort out. There is a simple fix I uploaded an earlier version 2.6.62 and everything works just fine on mobiles and laptops

    Hope that helps everyone.

    Hi

eatoutspain.com is the one with the old version 2.8.62 which I have just uploaded which works fine on mobiles and eatoutfrance.com is the one with the latest version which doesnt work on mobiles.

Just to add it worked fine before the latest wordpress update so I can only imagine that is the cause of the problem.

    Hi,

It is a divi theme problem and has nothing to do with recent updates.

The problem is that you have 2 separate menus, desktop menu and mobile menu. The mobile menu is being copied from the desktop menu. The code which copies the HTML elements does not copy the events associated with the elements being copied. Old version works, because it uses HTML attributes for js events like onchange, the new version doesn’t use that and uses js to attach events to elements. You can find more detailed explanation by searching for Divi in this forum.

You will need to place the selector out of the menu for it to work fine.

    Thanks! ??

Thanks edo much appreciated for your time on this – when you say You will need to place the selector out of the menu for it to work fine not too sure what you mean – it you get a chance to explain that would be fantastic.

    Regards
