Guest Author Page 404 Error

    Hello, We are using Guest Author 2.2 on our multisite network (activated site-by-site instead of network activated). Our sites are running the TagDiv Newspaper Theme 12.6.1, and we are having a problem viewing the author pages.

    They are giving us a 404 Not Found error whenever a link with the path /guest-author/john+smith/ is clicked on. In the past a quick deactivation/reactivation of the plugin would temporarily fix this issue, but this is no longer working.

    Do you have any suggestions for preventing this 404 issue?

    Hi,

    I’m not sure what you are referring to ??

    Guest Author information is stored as postmeta for that particular post and is only visible when reading that post. We don’t create author pages for guest authors. Maybe it was a different plugin?
