I’ve had this issue for a couple of months. Logged in, you can add products to the cart but guest who are not logged in can not. I have guest purchases check marked in Jigoshop settings. I tried 8 different basic WordPress themes to see if the theme caused the problem to no avail. The website is https://HomeRestored.com
I started another site with the exact same products and add-ons to try it out and Jigoshop works perfectly fine. It has the same theme as HomeRestored.com and it’s at https://2020DFW.com
Also, HomeRestored.com recently stop customers from leaving comments. while 2020DFW.com still do.

Yes, I’m using the latest Jigoshop version.

The version I’m using is 1.11.9. The problem started around April or May when I upgraded to a version that caused the cart not to work with guests.

    Hi HomeRestored,

Can you please send us login details to [email protected] so we can look into it?

    Moved to [email protected].

I am also having this problem. Logged in I can add to cart, logged out I cannot. There are no messages or errors shown on screen. It simply doesn’t update the cart. I’ve updated my plugin to version 1.11.9 and this did not fix the issue.

This is a strange issue, as it adds to cart on our test Jigoshop installations yet it doesn’t on some other. We’re currently testing it. creativename, could you please create an admin account for us and send us the login details too?

Same here for me on: https://www.lifesongcollection.com/
    – v1.11.9
    – add to Cart when logged-in, but Place Order doesn’t go anywhere
    – not even able to add to Cart when *not* logged in
    – error message in header of admin: “PayPal pro is enabled and the force SSL option is disabled; your checkout is not secure! Please enable SSL and ensure your server has a valid SSL certificate.” Clicking its link takes me to a “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” (?)

Submitting a User login to the site as well for Jigoshop.

Please advise (& login if you would)… we have a growing number of unhappy shoppers!

    Hello,

This issue is caused by a conflict with a caching plugin. This should help: https://www.jigoshop.com/documentation/using-caching-plugins-jigoshop/

Hello Olaf, I’m having this very same issue and I understand this ticket has been resolved, but I’m still having problems after following the guidelines in the provided link for WP Super Cache. I have a question about the following rule we are supposed to follow:

“We will want to list the following pages in the text box and be sure to NOT add a forward slash to the end of them:”

Why shouldn’t I add a forward slash to the end of my pages I want the caching plugin to exclude from caching?

And lastly, is there anything else I should look into since my issue has not been resolved after following these guidelines? Should I check with my hosting provider to see if they have caching restrictions placed on my cart and checkout pages which are causing these issues?

    Hello,

Prospective Guest customers have reported experiencing this problem, any advice / info welcome.

    Thanks

dickey1: Did you try to list the sites without adding a slash?

Tansy19: Did you follow the instructions listed here?

    Hi Olaf,

This is just one of the never ending problems I have had over the past 2 months using WP and Jigshop, the Hosting company are looking into it all once again.

    Thanks

hello. i too have an issue with the Payment Methods Not Appearing on Checkout Page. If i’m logged into wordpress the payment method appears, if i am logged out, it does not show.
