Guest Checkout not working – tried everything!

Hi – we built a ecommerce site using WooCommerce for a client to have one set of prices for logged in customers (using wholesale pricing plugin) and another for guests.
Our client initially concentrated on just wholesale prices and everything went well.
They’ve now added some retail prices for non logged in customers – but on checking out, the checkout page remains blank under the tab “Login”.
Obviously we ticked “enable guest checkout” and have ensured all the right shortcodes are on the right woo-generated pages – but nothing.
Initial thoughts were Wholesale Prices plugin was somehow clashing, so deactivated, but no joy. Similarly deactivated other plugins.
We’ve built a bunch of other ecommerce sites using WooCommerce and enable guest checkout has always worked.
Any ideas?

(size s7) – try adding it and you’ll see what I mean.It adds to the basket fine, but won’t checkout.
Site is still running Woo 1.6.6 – but we have other stores still on that that work fine.
