I’m using Tutor LMS Pro with Woocommerce. I have guest purchase turned off. But, guests have still been able purchase if they purchase through the woocommerce listing. I’ve selected to hide the video class woocommerce listings in the shop so they don’t show up. But somehow, people are still purchasing the classes as guests. The hidden listings still show up in search, when they shouldn’t. But, even if they are, people shouldn’t be able to purchase without being logged in. Is there something in my settings that I’m missing? Is this because I sell other products through woocommerce that don’t require logging in to purchase?

Also, I’ve always wondered what happens if I did have guest checkout turned on. Maybe a dumb question. But, how would the guest access the class later without having an account? Or would they be required to work through the class in one sitting?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hello @laurie124,

You can hide courses from woocommerce’s shop page by enabling this feature from Tutor settings > advanced tab.

Users will be able to access their course contents even if they checkout as guest users but create an account during checkout which you can enable from woocommerce settings > accounts & privacy tab.

The setting to hide courses from woocommerce’s shop page was already turned on. I still have to manually hide the listings on the woocommerce side. And somehow I’ve still got people finding the hidden listings and purchasing without an account.

    Hello @laurie124,

You may have other 3rd party plugins active that are interfering with Tutor LMS hide courses feature. You can temporarily deactivate those plugins to rule out any plugin conflict.

I visited your checkout page now and noticed you still haven’t enabled “Account Creation” feature from woocommerce settings > accounts & privacy tab. If users create an account during checkout they can use that account to access Tutor course contents.
