    Hello,

we’ve got a problem with the wishlist for guestuser. It might be a cache problem, we aren’t sure how to fix it tho. Maybe you can help us.

The guest user ist able to add items to the wishlist but as soon as he looks into the wishlist, the items aren’t there anymore. It shows ‘0’ items. The funny thing is, as soons as an item is inside the cart, the wishlist works as intended. The guest user is able to see the wishlist-items, is able to deletes them and the counter is working as intended. As soon as we delete the cart item, the wishlis stops working again.

I hope you can help us.

    Cheers.

    Hi,

I hope you are having a great day.

It’s seems to be a problem with the cache of your site. We added products to the wishlist and we could see them there without adding any product to the cart.( You can check our screenshot here )

Please clear the cache of the site or/and your browser cache and check it again.

Let us know if the issue persist.

    Hello there,

I do! Thank you. I hope you too are having a great day. Thanks for your fast reply!

Unfortunately we still do have this problem, even tho we’ve cleared the cache. Even on another machine we can reproduce the problem with even another article. Heres a screenshot the main page https://prnt.sc/IBDUe16iMWWS and another one as soon as we click on “wishlist” without adding anything new https://prnt.sc/J2Hm5GapvK4a .

Do you have any other idea?

    kind regards

    Hello there,

Could you please add the following URL to the cache exception list?

    • [ add the url of the page wishlist ]
    • [ add the url of the page wishlist ]/* (for all wishlist page endpoints)

Besides, YITH WooCommerce Wishlist plugin uses cookies in order to correctly store user’s wishlists; can you please add yith_wcwl_session_* cookies to your exceptions?

    Let us know any news.

    Best regards.
