GUI runs Site crashes

  • I cannot see any hallo posts.The only thing that is viewable is a message that says is:
    This is the default web page for this server.
    The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet.

    Also I cannot upload themes (It takes me to an FTP-upload form)even though I have tried locally chown and chmod

    i have a deadline to meet so if oly U could offer a helping hand, i would be thankful

    PS:I have read about uploads beeing enabled for apache user-name(www-data) but I know not the password.Maybe the whole thing is related to apache installation which is old enough to have forgotten how i have installed it and of course the password.(but the GUI php works ok so i kind of rejected that htread of thought)

    Sounds like you haven’t installed WordPress yet.

    To install themes in localhost, just copy and past the theme folders into your wp-content/themes/ subdirectory.

    οκ that was the first thing i tried on the wrong folder (an older installation) huh
