guide redirect permalink .html

dashboard->settings->permalinks
custom structure: /%postname%
save changes

if you need .html at the end of the url, use /%postname%.html

i did change the permalink to /%postname%.

is there auto redirection for this kind of case or i need to set manually each link in .htaccess?

i change to just /%postname%

if you change to just /%postname% , the .html will not work. you need to be exact when setting up the permalink structure. if you want your posts to be visible under link.html, make sure you add the .html so it reads: /%postname%.html

oh sorry, i don’t need the .html, so i change the permalink to just /%postname%

Then what happen to the .html link? will it remain error or redirect to new /%postname% ?
