Guided Transfer has caused problems

  • Hi I paid for and had a Guided Transfer take place on my site overnight Australian time. Since then members are emailing me saying none of their posts are showing since last night. I cant make a new page, it tells me Im not authorized to even see the preview.I am the one and only admin.

    I have emailed support I am supposed to get which is included and nobody has replied.You think the first day I could contact someone with teething problems.This is not good enough, I have a large site that was working one day and now is not, through no fault of my own…Not happy guys

    Sorry you’re having a rough time of it but guided transfers have nothing to do with WordPress.ORG.

    If you mean WordPress.COM then you should contact them.

    I reviewed your new site and all seems to be well with it. I think you (and some of your readers) are noticing the side effect of your DNS change settling. Some viewers will be seeing your old (WPCOM) site and some will be seeing your new self-hosted site for the next few hours.

    I haven’t had any emails from wordpress since being informed the transfer took place this morning.(as in around 6.30am aussie time.It is now 11.08pm

    Where are all the comments that are not showing? Are they lost or will they come online with this dns thing?
