I had a strange problem to occur while writing a post yesterday, April 15. I have WordPress 5.1.1 running Twenty Sixteen theme for my desktop theme.

When I was typing the post, all of a sudden I had things that I had checked in Options to appear in posts to show up in the middle of the post instead of at the bottom of the post. When I disabled all of the options that suddenly appeared in the middle of the post, I could write my post.

These Options are: Yoast SEO Premium, ECAE Options and Disable Excerpt? (from my Easy Custom Auto Excerpt Premium plugin), and Likes and Shares.

I tried to move them to the bottom of the post, but that didn’t work. To use the Options, I had to re-enable them. Then they went right back into the middle of the page. I could use them, but they were in the middle of the page. When I discovered a typo, I had to disable them again to fix the typo.

I looked at other posts, and the same problem is appearing in those posts. So…there is a problem. This problem makes writing posts a very difficult and extended task.

I have a screenshot of the problem, but I don’t see a place to upload it.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It’s likely the plugins inserting options are not compatible with the new block editor. Be sure you are using the latest version of each plugin. If you install and activate the Classic Editor plugin, the options will likely appear correctly, but then you lose the ability to use the block editor. I suggest you try this anyway as a test to gather more information. You can deactivate the plugin if you don’t want to continue using it.

I suggest you bring up this issue in the respective dedicated support forums for the plugins having issues.

We don’t host user images in these forums, you have to post images to an image sharing site, then post the link here. I suggest you use snag.gy for screen shots.

I am having this exact issue with 4 different plugins. I called my hosting people they said it is a WordPress software issue. So exhausting showing this screenshot to a thousand people and everyone saying its the other people’s fault.

@dhallum – I’m sorry you are getting the run around. I really am. I’m going to have to ask you to go elsewhere though. I do agree that it’s a WordPress software issue in general, but more specifically it’s a plugin issue. If you indeed have the exact same issue with pro or premium plugins, we’re unable to help you here with such plugins because we cannot access the source code. In any case, support of paying customers is the plugin vendor’s responsibility. It’s unfair to expect volunteers here to support other’s paid plugins.

If any of the problem plugins happen to be free, open source plugins that are hosted in the WP plugin repository, each plugin has its own dedicated support forum available through each plugin’s page. The plugin developers and expert users there are in the best position to help you.

same issue but only microsoft edge browser. i have checked on firefox it is all ok.
