    We responded to the email you sent for this same issue. For anyone else who might experience something similar, I’ll paste the reply here:

    That’s definitely a strange issue. I’ve never seen anything like that before. I think it might be something in your theme treating the shortcode brackets not as code, but as plain text. Would you be able to temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme (e.g. Twenty Twenty) and see if the block then works?

    If so, then we’ll know it’s the theme, and, if that’s the case, you can check your theme options to see if there are any features that might have an impact on the editor and that may be contributing to this.

    If not, then it could be another plugin doing the same thing. To see if that’s the case, you can deactivate all other plugins (except ours) and see if the block then works. If so, then you can reactivate them one by one, to see which is conflicting, and then please let us know.
