Gutenberg – Classic Editor

I have been using the Gutenberg editor since “upgrading” to 5.0; I have given it a chance, but I must say it is the worst experience I have had in 15 years of blogging. I freakin hate it.

I know there is a classic editor plugin available, but I also read that in a couple of years or so, the classic editor will no longer be supported. Is that true, and do I need to keep using this crap Gutenberg editor block thing, or can I use the Classic editor with the knowledge I don’t have to continue “learning”?
