    Hello @tonyzeoli,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

In order to add downloads to your pages/posts with the help of Gutenberg Editor you simply need to go to your WordPress dashboard > Pages > Add new or edit a page you created > search for the ‘Download Button’ block > select your download from the list > Publish.

Please let me know if you have any questions – I’m here for you!

    Warm regards,

    Beatrice.

Seemingly, the Gutenberg editor is not actice on the site, so I’ll have to check into that. Thanks.

Oh, I think I understand now. You’re saying (without actually saying) that instead of using the Download Monitor Post Type to Add New, just use Pages > Add New and then use the block. But I don’t need to do that, because I’m adding everything to make a searchable database of Downloads and I thought I could use Gutenberg with the Downloads Post Type, but I can’t because it’s the old editor. I’m assuming Gutenberg isn’t possible with the post type because you’ve got Long and Short descriptions. Is that correct?

Gutenberg for CPTs isn’t supported by default. That’s just how things are right now in WordPress.
