    Hello, I am using Hello theme + Elementor

    In creating articles, when I set a Gutenberg block (columns) to full width, it disrupts the responsiveness on desktop, as if the element goes beyond the set page width

    https://prnt.sc/bIXaT4BRenoJ

    This happens even if the block of columns doesn’t have any other element in it and is completely empty

    How can contain it within the width of the post?

    Thanks

  • I had that too. The more I tweaked the settings, the worse it got. My solution was to reset the inside and outside distances of the top group.

    Hi there – I’d suggest asking over at Elementor support, since issue this is specific to their plugin and theme.

    @hanspeterfuss – are you also using Hello Theme?

    can you send a screenshot of your settings?

    I haven’t fiddled with anything this way, but interested to see what you mean exactly.

    Thx

    Hey, @dkanika.

    Just to try and narrow this down a bit. Have you tried to deactivate Elementor and check if the horizontal overflow is still happening? If the issues is not happening with Elementor deactivated, you might want to move the question over to their forum.

    I hope that helps!

    It’s purely Hello theme incompatibility. Fixed with this

    body {
    overflow-x: hidden!important;
    }

    Thank you for sharing your solution @dkanika !
