About 6 months to a year ago I used to be able to build a gallery page with blocks
that came out even in size and to the number of images that I wanted in each column
    as per the link shown.
Since that time I have been unable to produce uniform gallery images.
I start out by creating a new page.
I click the + sign and then click on gallery.
I select say 6 or so images.
They come up in a uniform line.
Then the only thing left is to click on the Create a new Gallery line.
When I do this the images come up in 2 lines of 3 each.
They are quite large and some with a fuzzy image.
At no time do I see a setting on the right column that allows you to choose
the no. of images per column with the little slide tool that used to be
    there.
Where am I going wrong here.
I have gone through various articles on the Gallery Blocks along with
    You Tube demos.
On my Plugin page I have Gutenberg, and also Kadence Blocks.

Any suggestions or help of this would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Frank.

  • There is a slide controller under gallery settings to adjust the number of images to show in a column. The control uses flexbox to create the gallery and image with to control how many images are in a row. For example, if there are 3 images the image width would be 33.333%, and so on. However, if the number of images doesn’t fit evenly in the rows the last images will fill the last row making them bigger.

If it is not what you want you might want to check the plugin directory for an alternative gallery block.

Thank you very much for your reply mrtom.

My problem is in finding the slide controller in the settings.
It used to appear in the right side column along with the other settings,
but no matter how many buttons or changes I try to make, I cannot
seem to bring it in as in the past.

If you have any suggestions you can let me know, however I will
    keep trying.

    Thanks again,
    Frank.

It should be in the panel. The control would come from the block and not the theme. Try using the list view to make sure you are on the gallery. If you are on an image it will not display.

    Hello Mr. Tom

    Thank you very much.
You are right – I was in the theme.

    It is much appreciated.

    Frank.
