Gutenberg not working

  • I’m running v 5.0 of the gutenberg editor, but its not working at all. When I view my pages there isn’t any visual content it’s entirely in html. When I add a page, its the same thing. You can see a screenshot here https://app.box.com/s/zld5kyt27f0unp4db04gm648uvrzvqyw

    Its’ an example of what I’m seeing on all pages. The add block button is greyed out and doesn’t work.
    I’ve tried rolling back the plugin updates to v 4.9 and then 4.8, but this didn’t change anything.
    Any ideas or help would be appreciated to fix this issue.

    I put the Picture in the block, in Image https://cldup.com/Fz-ASbo2s3.jpg, and i shows up like i expected, nice mountains…

    can you tell me what theme you use, maybe there is a disfuncional part?

    Hi Paul
    Thanks for your reply. We’re using Publish theme. The issue is that we are only seeing the code editor, not the visual editor and there is no option to change this.
