Gutenberg plugin breaks ability to access link options in classic editor

    I installed the Gutenberg plugin today however when it is activated it is no longer possible to access the link options:

    Highlight text
    Click link button
    enter url
    click cog to edit settings
    –> scrollbar disappears and the link options dialog does not appear

    Problem resolves when gutenberg is deactivated

  • Just to make sure I understand this correctly and can try to reproduce: are you doing the steps in the classic editor? Or are you looking for the Gutenberg equivalent of link options from the classic editor?

    Hmm. That’s very weird, as Gutenberg shouldn’t be affecting anything in the classic editor. I also wasn’t able to reproduce the issue on my own site, tried in both Chrome and Edge (on Windows).
    I tried searching the Github repository for similar issues, and this is the only one that came close. It’s related to the classic block in the gutenberg editor, where the link options dialog will appear, but changes are not saved – so not quite what you’re describing.
