Gutenberg readiness and roadmap

Unfortunately, Gutenberg compatibility is not a current feature in our Calendar, however you can submit a feature request for our Development Team to consider implementing for a future release of the calendar. You can do so here:

Now it needs all the votes it can get so it bubbles up on the developer’s radar. I would have thought that Core compatibility would be the highest priority for plugin developers.

Thankyou. Core compatibility is the highest priority. Our development team makes every effort to ensure there are minimal conflicts with 3rd party WordPress plugins or addons.

@sunny454 Gutenberg is not a 3rd party plugin. It is WordPress 5.0. Are you ready?

Thankyou for the correction. Yes, our development team is aware and has planned to be up to date with WordPress 5.0 and it’s new editor.

We did a preliminary test on the current version and it seems to work fine with Gutenberg editor enabled. It wasn’t a very thorough test. Just adding/editing events, and information in meta boxes and everything worked fine.

Your feedback on this is greatly appreciated! Anything else you find, or that you think we could use to make our calendar plugin compatible with the Gutenberg editor, will be taken to the Dev Team for implemenation.
