Indeed, Bilingual Linker does not support themes that allow for full WYSIWYG editing. I am not sure how to create a new block that would be able to be inserted in that new menu system, but I’ll try to figure it out. That being said, in all honesty, this plugin has a VERY small user base so it’s not the one that I devote most of my time to.

I hope you will find some time for it. This plugin is exactly what I need. But it would be sad to stay with old themes and technologies.
I am not a php programmer, otherwise, I would do the programming and offer the code for implementation.

I’ve already spent a few hours working on this over the week-end. While I know how to create regular blocks, these don’t appear in the theme menu editor as available choices. I have not been able to find much documentation online on this special type of block.

I reached out to the developer community and while it took a few days, I finally got a response on how to create a new navigation block in WordPress. I have just published version 2.4 of Bilingual Linker, introducing the new navigation block to be able to add menu in the new FSE themes.

Please try it out and let me know if it works as expected on your end. Also please consider donating to support this plugin’s development.

    Happy holidays!
