Gutenslider stopped working after 4.4.8 upgrade

Hi,

today I upgraded to Gutenslider 4.4.8 and as a result the slider does not display anymore on my homepage. When I use the inspector I see the div for Gutenslider and the gallery inside but nothing is displayed on screen. However, the gallery shows fine when I edit the page and the images are transitioning.

It says in the changelog that there was a CSS update which may cause this problem. I reverted back to version 4.4.7 and everything works fine!
