Hi, I just started using your product & it looks good.

I really want gzip compression, & it seems that your product comes with gzip compression. But for whatever reason, even though I activated it, optimized, & also waited a week, websites such as pingdom are claiming that I still don’t have gzip compression. Any thoughts on what could be the issue?

A separate issue is how does your product interact with EWWW image optimizer? What should I enable or disable to ensure maximum results or at least no interference? Thanks so much.

It appears that your site has gzip enabled. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/ZFs3tJAK7GpQ.

You can also verify gzip compression using other tools such as: https://www.giftofspeed.com/gzip-test/.

Regarding the EWWW Image Optimizer, I cannot confirm if WP-Optimize interferes with any 3rd-party plugins without conducting proper compatibility testing. Given the vast number of plugins available, testing them all would be impractical.

However, as a general precaution, if two plugins share a similar feature, I recommend disabling that feature in one of the plugins and utilizing the other plugin for that specific function. This approach should help you avoid potential conflicts between the plugins. I hope this clarifies your query.

With that being said, if you encounter any conflicts between WP-Optimize and other plugins, please don’t hesitate to create a new support topic. We’ll be glad to assist you. Thank you.

Hi, I saw your screenshot which is great. Thank you for your help.

However, when I check on pingdom, it keeps saying I don’t have it at all (0 with “F” rating). When I went to giftofspeed, it says “Error: Maximum (20) redirects followed” Is there something that I am not aware of?

In addition, when I compare the loading speed of the site with & without WP compress, it doesn’t seem noticeably different. I used an eyeball check as well as pingdom (after doing a full cache clearance & waiting a few days). Is there something that might be blocking the gzip?

It appears to me that Pingdom is incorrect. You could contact Pingdom support and ask them for clarification.

Could you please share a screenshot of the “Error: Maximum (20) redirects followed” message?
