GZip Compression for autoptimize js file

But I’ve already done those additions to the .htaccess file. GZIP is functional but does not compress the file I mentioned above.

I can confirm the CSS is compressed OK, but your JS is not; both jquery.js and the autoptimized file are sent over uncompressed (see image below where for both files “size” is the same as “transferred”) so it looks like you might need to check your configuration (.htaccess)?

Given the lack of feedback I’m assuming this is fixed so closing the topic. Don’t hesitate to follow up though if you still have questions/ remarks concerning this!

I’ve had a bit of a play around with the .htaccess file, as well as trying different caching plugins etc. Autopotimize still gives me the best results despite having these files uncompressed.

I’m going to leave them uncompressed.
