GZIP enabled on server for the “image/svg+xml” file type
-
Hi,
Thanks for the great plugin ??
I’m looking into using SVG’s on my site for logo, etc. I read that “if you have never used SVGs before, ensure you have GZIP enabled on your server for the “image/svg+xml” file type.”
According to my hosting service, “The GZIP module is already enabled on the server, to compress them add this in .htaccess.” I don’t see GZIP or svg in my .htaccess, but you guys take care of that right???
I found this https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php/litespeed_wiki:config:gzip-compression
BUT I can’t seem to figure out how to find / do this in WP admin:
“gzip Compression section of the WebAdmin console (Configuration > Server > Tuning). You first must make sure Enable Compression is set to Yes”In summary, my end goal: have GZIP enabled on my server for the “image/svg+xml” file type. Help!
Thanks a lot ??
