H1 in /Page categories

    Hello –
    I subscribe to Moz and in February it started throwing an error about how there are no H1 tags on the paginated category pages. It makes sense, I suppose, but my boss hates seeing these errors.

    Is there a way to add an H1 heading to these paginated blog pages? We have 400+ of them.

    /blog/page/15/
    /blog/page/16/
    /blog/page/17/

    Etc. It seems to list only 4 blogs on these pages which seems like very little. Maybe it might be better to list 15+ blogs on each paginated page?

    Does anyone have any advice?

    * I figured out how to set more blog posts to the categories.

    But if there is any tutorial to adding H1 tags to the category interior pages themselves, that would be awesome.

    Hello Kristibug,

    The best way to convert those H2 tags to H1 is by editing the theme.

    If it is a custom theme check with the developer, otherwise by going to theme editor and content-page.php, you need to change h2 to h1.

    If I don’t see it in the Appearance –> Editor, would it be hiding if I open the site in Filezilla?

    No, it should appear here.

    It would be best to check with the theme developer if they coded that in a different file.
