H1 tag missing on homepage

Any chance of adding support to the theme to automatically add a <H1> tag in such cases, whether using a site title or logo?

I ran into the same thing, and it looks like you all get this question about once a month… So the request doesn’t look like it’s going to go away.

If you are using a logo and the front page is displaying the latest posts, then this is the solution:

If you are using just the site title, then it should be <h1> by default when the front page is the posts page as seen in the example here:
https://gpsites.co/marketer/

Gotcha, thanks Leo. I guess the issue only affects those of us using a site logo then, without a (textual) site title…

In which case, from visual or presentation perspective, I’d prefer not to have any new text added to the home or blog pages (which would be the case with the first link you shared).
