    It would be good if you could choose not to copy over the slug instead of it copying it and adding a 2, 22, 222 etc.. on the end,

    Using an alternative plugin that does allow this

    Hi @nicolalucas ,

    Thanks for coming today.

    This is already how it works even with our plugin. Once you clicked the “Duplicate” option in pages for example, then the duplicate pages will be exactly the same as the main page (including unchanged slug), but then the Duplicate page will be set to “Draft”, since you naturally can’t have two WP pages taking the same slug.

    So, you must publish the Draft Duplicate and the indicative numbers (2, 22) you mentioned will be added automatically once you hit “Publish”.
