Hack to hide theme admin panel from author

I have noticed that my authors can access the theme panel on their dashboard. I want to limit them to only the posts they have access to, which is already adjusted. Is there a down and dirty way to remove this panel from the view? Even if it did it across the board that is fine because I can access it from a direct link if needed. TIA
