Hacked Mailchimp account

    I have an account which was hacked in to and the email changed. Due to their being a weakness in mailchimps security not protecting me from this I cannot get back in to the account. Furthermore Mailchimp will not allow me back in to the account or put me through a validation process or change the email address the themselves or even completely delete the account.

    Not only does this mean I’ve lost all the work I’ve put in to using mailchimp but it also means the hacker has access to my database and can SPAM it any time he wants (I say he because I’m confident I know who did it)

    Consequently even though I’ve been advised I could set up a new account, I’m not using Mailchimp for fear of this weakness allowing a simple breach of security like this and the lack of support I’ve received.

    I recommend you remove the Mailchimp server from your domain SPF record so that most mail send from your domain via Mailchimp goes to spam.

My advice to you is to contact MailChimp.com as they would be the best people to answer any query related to your MailChimp.com account.
