Hacked – Plugin Unsafe

  • I dl’d this plugin a few days ago and decided to go a different route, but never deleted it. Today, my website was hacked and now redirects to some scam website. I contacted GoDaddy and they determined that The Events Calendar plugin was the culprit.

    I would advise against using this plugin.

    Can you share any details of why GoDaddy would think that The Events Calendar had something to do with this? We haven’t heard any other reports of this, if you have more details you can share I’d be more than happy to look into this.
