• I’ve been testing Sutra, and I’m surprised at how well it suits a test site of mine… But, since my screen is set at only 1152 px wide, I can see that the text on this theme is pushing up to the right edge, no margin. I tried setting my screen larger which doesn’t look good, but the text of the theme gets a margin that way.

Would there be any way to hack this theme in order to make it ‘wrap’ so that we get a margin on smaller screens like mine?

I see that others at the forum have had good luck contacting the theme’s author, so maybe that would be my best move.

  • Hi blueamulette,

I am the theme developer of Sutra, thanks very much for using it. I’ve just
released an update which should hopefully put the margin issue back in order.
A number of people contacted me about the same issue.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions for the theme.

    Thanks,
    Mike

For the Sutra Theme, if I enable the categories as a list (not dropdown), and the blog ends before the left side menu at the bottom, the bottom margin starts right after the blog ends, but cuts across the left side menu.
Is there a fix for this ?

Great theme btw. It is very popular at my work place, where we are using it in a corporate environment.

    Hi smadueagle,

I’m glad to hear that you like the theme and it’s interesting to hear what different uses it’s being put to.

I’ve updated the theme so that the sidebar is no longer static as many people requested it. I’ve made a few other small adjustments so upgrading should do the trick.

Hurrah! I still love the Sutra theme <3. I haven’t been using it lately but might be switching back shortly due to some major alterations on my site which might “play” better on a different background. In any case, Sutra is one of my absolute top favorite themes for my general needs…

Thanks for the glowing feedback blueamulette,
    Much appreciated!
