Live traffic setting

    Hello,

    My question is about the live traffic settings. If i check “enable traffic inspection for maximum security what will the real time effects of it? What does it do?

    The second question is about “enable error shielding”, if i check it for maximum security what will be the real time effects and what will it do?

    It would make sense if there were “Know more” links beside those two buttons ‘Enable traffic inspection’ and ‘Enable error shielding’.

    @cj74 You should rename the title to something like ‘Traffic inspector “maximum security” versus “maximum compatibility” settings?’.

    Hi!

    You need to set “Enable traffic inspection” to “Maximum security” unless you come across a conflict with another plugin or get too many false positives. “Enable error shielding” is about monitoring error requests with HTTP code >= 400. If it’s enabled, the plugin locks out IP addresses that produce too many such requests. None of them prevent the website from indexing by search engine crawlers.

    I just noticed a problem which i first noticed yesterday. The latest login details isn’t showing in the “all activity” and traffic inspector dashboard. It is kipping some information from displaying,what seems to be the problems and how do i fix it? Thanks

    This particular user was logged in but his logging in wasn’t registered by the plugin. Also the website has the buddypress wizard which displays the last active user in the order of their last visit, but his visit isn’t showing in the sequence, should i be worried? His “session” wasn’t listed in the sessions tab either.
