Had it for 2 months and NO SPAM

Hi all,

I am not sure why this plugin does not have a perfect rating, but it is highly rated for a reason. There support is great even though we needed to contact support only once.

If you have bbPress and/or BuddyPress or just allow user registration/logins then this is a MUST HAVE plugin. Before we had this plugin, we had Google reCAPTCHA and Akismet and had users confirm their email. However, there was still spam who would get past our Google reCAPTCHA, Akismet, and would also confirm their email. So we would have spam create topics on our website. We would also have a bunch of pending signups via Users > Pending Signups.

We then got this plugin (2 months ago) and got rid of Akismet and reCAPTCHA. Since then we have had ZERO Pending Signups and ZERO spam posts. They have logs of who got denied registration and spam posts as well as our contact form and other forms of activity. We have never felt more comfortable about user registrations since there has been no spam at all.

I also want to point out that we have a social login allowing people to register and log in with their social media accounts. There were two spam registrations using the social log in’s plugin API and the Spam protection, AntiSpam, FireWall by CleanTalk plugin denied their posts. We since then turned on a feature Spam protection, AntiSpam, FireWall by CleanTalk has which protects external forms and we have not had another spam registration.

We would highly recommend this plugin to those who have contact forms, external forms, custom forms, forums, registrations, and/or logins. Or to those who just want to conserve CPU resources due to spambots by using their spam firewall.
