Had to move database to a new install and having issues. Help?
-
My friend’s wordpress installation stopped working, It was throwing an HTTP 500 error. I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work again, so I backed up the database and set up a new installation and imported the old database via phpmyadmin and all that jazz. Once it was working again but we could not add a new post. This is what we were seeing when we go to the “Add A Post” page: https://imgur.com/a/TVrRjP2
I found this fix:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/you-are-currently-editing-the-page-that-shows-your-latest-posts-3/?replies=5
“Check the box “AUTO_INCREMENT” of filed “ID” of table wp_posts.
Hope this can help those who also has this problem.” and I did that and it fixed something but there is something still now right about this.
This is what it looks like now: https://imgur.com/a/vLRBcHQLook at the permalink, it’s not dating the right day and the link itself is weird it’s not showing the http: .. I’ve been in the general settings and it’s showing the urls as //whatanerdgirlsays.org in both site and wordpress and I changed it to add the https:// and “saved it” but it doesn’t save. It goes back to //whatanerdgirlsays.org! I don’t know what else to do. Also it still says “submit for review” instead of the publish settings and what not. How do I fix that as well?
What can I do to fix this?? Please help? Thank you so much!
