With the major update, the single event page has changed significantly, and no longer looks like the screenshot you provide on your plugin’s page. The event photo is at the bottom, with a large space between the event title and picture and event description, and “owner” now shows up again as the organizer – though I could have missed it, I don’t see a setting to hide the organizer. Looks like the date is now showing in the USA time on single page, but not on the event listing (??). Too much. We’ve rolled back, and are not sure what to do from here.

Did you really completely change the single page, or do we need to look deeper?

    Many thanks.

    Hello @wardencenter,

We are making some further updates with upcoming version of EventPrime 4.0.3. We believe that some of the design changes should fix the problems you are reporting.

Please give us another couple of days to get the launch ready and verify it with the latest version once its live. If you still face any problems, we will further analyze it.

We look forward to the next release.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

To assist you better, could you please let us know if you have any custom templates for the em_event post type within your theme or child theme? Additionally, if you have any customization code for the content part of this post type, could you please share those details with us?

    Looking forward to your response.

Not sure what you mean by custom template, but we have customized one file, as follows:
    Filename: tickets.php
Changed line 59 (under: “ticket_price_range”) to read:
“esc_html_e( ‘PRICE: $5 Suggested Donation at the door’, ‘eventprime-event-calendar-management’ );”

I don’t know what you mean by “customization code”. Do you mean “Additional CSS”? If so, then, yes, we have EventPrime related Additional CSS within the Theme Customizer. HOWEVER, when this EventPrime Additional CSS is deleted, we get the same issues and the same error as seen in the previous screenshot.

FYI, here is the link again to that screenshot: https://ibb.co/SRQRpGp

    Thank you,

UPDATE: The error only happens on events that have a ticket price other than zero.

Again – the error appears only on single event pages.

    (@wardencenter)

Final UPDATE: I figured out how to correct the error, though I did not spend the time to figure out the root cause. Error was caused by some change made to the tickets.php file in version 4.0.3 (possibly done in 4.0.0, but I didn’t test this).

Copied the tickets.php file from version 4.0.3 to our child theme folder: eventprime/events/single-event/ (and removed tickets.php from version 3.5.3 from that same folder) and changed the wording in line 55 to our liking (original was ‘Free’, changed this to ‘Price: Suggested $5 Donation’.

    Hope that all makes sense.

Will leave this thread open for you to change it to “resolved”.

    Thank you,
    Kim
