• It would be a great plugin because only this one works for me with Custom Fields tag. It gives the tag of Custom Field to generate permalink using most popular WP Permalink plugins, but after successful permalink generation, when you click on it – there is an error because no post found.

ACF Permalinks plugin, which is analog of this one, works reversed – it doesn’t give Custom Field tag in the most popular plugins, only in ones which don’t fit my needs. But the post is found after permalink generation.

    Hello,

    Thank you for feedback.

I’m not sure what you mean by “to generate permalink using most popular WP Permalink plugins”. Having enabled multiple plugins might cause them clashing.

However, to verify your rating of the plugin I encourage you to submit a ticket with well described environment to reproduce. Maybe you identified some bug we can fix or you have some clash with plugins.

    Athlan.

One of the plugins I’m testing right now is Custom Post Type Permalinks. It gives additional fields for Taxonomy Type Posts, but when I use %field_price% for example – link is generated correctly, the value of this variable is found there, but the post can not be open when clicked.
If I leave only “%postname%” or some standard vars “%postname%/%post_id%” in that field – everything works again

I think the problem is with real variable value conversion to a slug, because some posts start open, but others still not, even if they has a value for that variable.

I do not support plugin “Custom Post Type Permalinks”, this plugin named “Custom Fields Permalink 2” is kind of fork. Reason why project was kicked-off was lack of support of aforementioned origin.

    Looking at:
“link is generated correctly, the value of this variable is found there, but the post can not be open when clicked”
“because some posts start open, but others still not, even if they has a value for that variable”

I suggest check your post status and logged in role. General principle of WordPress is to hide unpublished (drafts) posts for non-admin users. This plugin won’t change that.

Please also make sure that you have fresh WP installation and plugin is not clashing with each other. Otherwise, raise a bug ticket with instructions to reproduce.

To activate Taxonomy links I need to use an additional plugin? With which one it has been tested?

I test posts live when changing tags – with standard tags they are working good, opening correctly, but when %field_fieldname% is included there is a problem happening as have mentioned before…

    Thank you!
