Hamburger menu icon not showing on mobile

Hello,
The hamburger menu icon is not showing up on mobile versions of my website. If you click the white area where the hamburger icon should be, the menu appears, but the icon is just not showing, so if you don’t know there is a menu you wouldn’t click that white area. If I change the hamburger icon to an arrow or any other possible icon, it works perfectly. But I would like to have the hamburger icon there. Can someone help me? I don’t see that any character, hamburger or otherwise, has been assigned to the mobile menu button. See https://i.imgur.com/nwvCsf8.png
