Hamburger menu loading

please how do I fix this small thing… I set the horizontal menu to be hidden behind the hamburger menu in mobile.
despite this setting the horizontal menu is still displayed in the mobile header for a few seconds before it get hidden.For the period it is shown it blocks most parts of the mobile screen. It aslo makes the site jumpy when it hides.
