Handing over a wordpress site from my hosting to new admin’s hosting
-
Hi!
I am passing on a WordPress website to an other administrator which is going to install it in his hosting provider of preference. In short, I need to give him all the files for him to be able to do that and not give him any of my personal details in the process.
I’ve been told to do 3 things:
* Copy the installation folder from ftp
* Copy the database from cpanel
* Change my admin code
* I have a paid theme so I shouldn’t delete the registration key from the installation so they keep getting theme updates.Hand over all above.
Is that enough? Would you propose a more efficient way or best practice?
Thank you so much for your time!
