Hand painted jewellery – website with ecommerce – please review

  • Hi,

    I built my first wordpress site. It still requires few tweaks I guess.
    Could you please have a look and let me know what you think?
    Website presents handpainted jewellery and home decor. I also installed woocommerce for online shop. Here’s the address -> martawalenda.com

  • looks very nice but it doesn’t function to well. The front slider doesnt work and its abit slow rendering pages.

    Agree with Mark above. Nice page but loads very slow. try lower resolution images or even us the WordPress CDN to try and speed things up.

    Also you title is too long and you have no page description on your front page. This is bad in the eyes of Google.

    run your page through Google Page Speed
    and you will see a few things you can do to address the speed issues.

    Hi Mark and Gaz,

    Thanks for your comments. I checked on Google Page Speed and there is lots to change. So far I optimised images. Need to check how to do the rest as I never worked with codes.

    Would you be able to check why I cannot pin any images on pinterest? It doesn’t work with plugins from my website, but also when I go to pinterest.com and try to pin from them. It’s annoying.
