Hangs when posting or comment running wp-cerber

  • Installed Newsup – Version 2.9.9.48 last weekend and set up my site. I am also trying to run WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan on the site. Everytime I try to create a post and save I get the error “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.” message. If I close wp cerber everything works fine. I am wondering if anyone else has reported and or fixed this problem?

  • Based on the info you’ve provided, I think you need to enable “Allow access to REST API for logged-in users” on the “Hardening” tab.

    Found the problem. I am behind a reverse proxy server. I found a radio button that says
    “I am behind a reverse proxy” after clicking that it all came up and running like it should. As soon as I find it I will post were it is.
