I did an exhaustive search and tried many plug-ins, and I ended up with this one.

    I particularly like:
    – Modern design
    – Lots of customization
    – Good features (e.g., triggers, see user location info, realtime typing)
    – Doesn’t seem to slow down my site (based on tests)
    – Responsive support (although English just ok)
    – Seem open/interested in continually improving product, including add WordPress user integration

The free version was a bit too limited for me, so I upgraded to full version.

    Highly recommended!

A couple of months have passed by, and despite the promises of improvements and me (and others) bringing a variety of flaws/gaps to their attention, there has been little/no updates to the JivoChat program. It seems like the developers have moved on to other priorities ??

    Downgrading by a star…

@tszabo I am about to purchase this service. Could you please tell me the flaws you found after two months of usage?

The best thing would probably be to browse their support site: https://www.jivochat.com/support

Update: they finally released a new version (2.0.4) that fixed some of the bugs and added other enhancements. Still some things to work on (e.g., customer to be able to send themselves chat transcript, better chat archives management and not having chats disappear after 2 months), but at least they appear to be working on this plug-in again!
