    Hello,

Please I need help with the new Elementor system of containers instead of columns and inner sections. Do all HA templates and widgest still work in this new system?

Most of HA templates have been created with columns system but now Elementor sets containers as defaults and this causes confusion.

KIndly let me know how to deal with this.

    Thank you very much!

My main concern is because aparently containers will be default as fron now and a lot faster than columns.
    Thank you!

    Hi @aflorarte,

I would like to inform you that all of our widgets and templates can work with the Elementor Container. Only a few feature like Live Copy & Equal Height feature is currently unable to perform properly with the container.

We are actively working on these feature supports and will include this in the near future.

Feel free to let us know if you have any feature suggestion. Thank you and have a nice day.

    Understood, thank you so much!

However, please let me know if containers and columns can be used together in the same page.

Sorry as this is confusing. Hope you can help me here

    Regards

    Hi @aflorarte,

    Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, as per the Elementor default system, Container and Column can not be used on the same page. There is no controller in the frontend. Either you have to disable the container or you can enable Flexbox Container from your admin dashboard > Elementor > Settings > Features section. For reference, Screenshot.

However, we will notify you if anything comes up.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Hello, @anowerhossain16 and thanks for your reply,

My asking this is because I heard that you may want to convert some sections of old Elementor websites created with columns into containers. (and I can see the converter bottom)

So I was thinking that perhaps I could convert only the HERO section into a container and keep the rest of the sections in columns as they are.

This would allow me to reduce the number of elements into one container thus resulting in a faster page load.

Please let me know if this is incorrect.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi @aflorarte,

    Thanks for the update.

There are no restrictions other than the Live Copy and Equal height that are unable to perform properly on the Elementor Flexbox container. Otherwise, most of our widgets and features can perform on both the Container and Column.

If you have already a column design and you need to build it with a container then you have to rebuild it by enabling the container. Conversion is officially not introduced yet.

Additionally, please share the source of the information that described the news that we want to convert some sections into containers.

    Thank you.
