Hard breaks in excerpts

In all my postst and all my excerpts I use de <br> tag to create hard returns.

In general I have three short lines as an excerpts, like a name, a location and a date that I wish to show vertically, instead of in one line.

Since the update to WordPress 6.3 the hard return are not shown anymore. I use the twenty twenty two three.

I tried a few plugins that promised to work with html-code. But that did not work.

Any suggestions?
