  • why would you want to do this? you’ll lose the features when you change theme.

I only want that functionality built into the theme I am developing

You should be able to add the code into your themes’s functions.php

That’s what I thought, but it didn’t seem to work. It broke my theme. I was wondering if anyone knew of a tutorial or something for this.

Which specific plugin is it you are trying to adapt into your theme? There are a few with similar names. You won;t get a specific tutorial, but there may be things you’d have to look out for such as paths to files.

Unless its a simple one-function plugin I wouldn’t bother adding it into the theme – I would make it a required plugin and provide a link to it in the readme file for the theme
