    I’m having a few issues with my site bakkerstudios.com.au
    Ive spent days trying to sort this out alone- but am stuck!
    The page I describe below are on the initial scroll page, with its nice slider of images and links.

    Widgets page- can I make this page appear larger without having to show a whole pile of widgets? I want to show none- just the image, but a little larger

    thanks

  • Hi,

    Since the theme is of WordPress.com and not www.ads-software.com you should open a ticket at wordpress.com as they will be able to assist you more quickly than users here.

    You can open a support ticket at WordPress.com on the following link.

    Thanks Clarion, But they sent me here. I asked the same question yesterday to wordpress.com

    Hi @catherinebakker: Can you point me to which page you’re specifically trying to edit on your site? I’m not able to see any widgets on the home page of your site but if you point me to the specific section that you’re trying to remove, I’ll be able to help from there.

    Hi Siobahn, so the widgets page, is the 4th image down on the front homepage. The home page is the nice set of slider images you initally see when you go to my site. Harmonics template is a little odd in that it calls each of the individual images a “page” even tho it isn’t. At the moment the widget image/page shows some tools hanging on a rack, and I have turned all the widget links off. In turning off the widgets off Ive ended up with a thinner image, but if there is any way to increase it without turning them back on that would be great.

    Hi Kathyn, Ill post future questions in the Harmonic forum. Sorry I wasn’t aware of the proptocol

    Appreciate the feedback

    Hi @catherinebakker,

    You could override the theme’s default settings and increase the height of that area with some custom CSS.

    As you have Jetpack already installed on your site, you can activate Jetpack’s custom CSS module and then add CSS via Appearance > Edit CSS.

    Enter the following snippet in either the CSS editor in order to increase the height of your widget area:

    #para-template #slide-4 .hsContent .widget-area {
        height: 682px;
    }

    Hope that’s helpful! ??

    Hi all . Ive resolved the issue by using the widgets page as my contact page. Killed 2 birds with one stone, as the separate contacts page was looking pretty out of proportion, and was also on my to fix list

    appreciate all your assistance
